Since I need a break, I am stealing this from my friend Sarah. :o)
One book that changed your life.
Hmm... The Red Tent by Anna Diamant made me realize the Biblical characters were real people and not just caricatures. So, in a way, that book shed a new light on the Bible for me. Oh, and My Antonia by Willa Cather. It gave me a fresh look at how setting can impact the tone for a book.
One book that you have read more than once.
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
One book you would want on a desert island.
All of the ones on my "to read" list because maybe then I would have enough time.
Two books that made you laugh.
Marley and Me by John Grogan (it also made me cry - see below) and Big Boned by Meg Cabot
One book that made you cry.
Marley and Me - I was on a plane and had to stop reading it so I would not freak out the other passengers with my crazy crying!
One book you wish you'd written.
The Time Traveler's Wife - brilliant
One book you wish had never been written.
Wow, never written, eh? I can't think of any book I have really HATED enough to ban from the Earth.
Two books you are currently reading.
Just finished After the Leaves Fall by Nicole Baart. Currently reading The Book of Jane by Anne Dayton and May Vanderbilt.
One book you've been meaning to read.
A whole slew. I do have The Other Boleyan Girl and Feeling for Bones are on hold at the library, so I think they are next. :o)
